I’m sure I’ll write a longer blog post on Port Arthur at some stage detailing our two day adventure through the ruins and our ghost tour of the most haunted sites on the preserve, but for now these photos will have to do.

Exploring the Cradle Mountain National Park has been on my to do list for many years, and I finally got to experience it’s beauty in July this year, and it did not disapoint.
Over the four day Easter break, I jumped in the car with my crazy friend, and we hit the road bound for Kings Canyon.I know Uluru gets most of the attention, but Kings Canyon really is one of the most scenic, peaceful and magical places in the Red Centre. And if it’s not on your bucket list, then it definitely should be.
I was pretty excited about this since I was FINALLY going to have the opportunity to check a key item off my bucket list: swimming with a salt water crocodile in the Cage of Death!
