chasing bucket list adventures and experiences
Hi there! My name is Emma and I am passionate about living life to the fullest and seeing as much of the world as possible. Check out my bucket-list to see what items I have already checked off and what experiences I’m still working on. If you want to learn more about my story, check out my About page.
Most of my bucket list items can be divided into four categories. Not sure what to read first? Here are some of my favourite bucket list adventures:
As someone who experiences rather serious anxiety, getting out of my comfort zone and doing something new and exhilarating is a must. Here you will find some of my most exciting adventures that pushed me out of my comfort zone.
Ziplining through ancient rain forests in New Zealand
That Time I Survived a Hot Air Balloon Accident
Australia is a place of extreme conditions and beauty. From snow capped mountains to red sandunes to hidden waterholes, Australia is a place of wonder and I am so proud to call this place my home.
Exploring Kings Canyon, Central Australia
Swimming my way through Litchfield National Park
Learning about the convict history of Tasmania
Here is where you will find some of my more unsual and quirky adventures. And just a word of warning, ‘misadventure’ is my middle name.
Getting the’VIP’ treatment at a spa in Egypt
Escape rooms – not as easy as you might think
Hunting for ghosts at an asylum for the criminally insane
Life lesson: Don’t attend a sex show with your brother
A wall of vaginas: is this art?
Many of the items on my bucket list involve or requie travel. Thus far I have only travelled to a small number of countries, but for me it’s about the quality of each experience rather than the quantity of locations. From my two week exploration of Egypt to my whirlwind trip through Europe, to my adventures in New Zealand.
Budapest Bucket List in 24 Hours
Swimming with Sea Turtles in Gili Islands
Visiting a Nazi Concentration Camp
Because bucket lists don’t just have to be about far away places and adventure. Here you can read about the time I took a 6 week yoga course and got my act together and became an organ donor.
